Jake Capistrant

Owns the place, keeps everything running

Jake’s experience in bike sales and service goes back to when he was thirteen years old and began working in a local bike shop. He's been in bike sales and service ever since. In April of 2009, Jake decided to open his own shop to offer only the best in service to every customer. Today, Jake's emphasis is still on the customer: he puts time into each interaction to make sure you leave as satisfied as can be.

Troy Pauly

Wrenches on bikes, sells stuff to customers

Having joined Jake’s Bikes in the spring of 2010, Troy Pauly - the guy in the big red truck - can do just about anything! Originally from Willmar, Minnesota, Troy attended Alexandria Technical College. While studying carpentry, masonry and small business, he fell in love with the Alexandria area and decided to stick around.

Troy says he’s been into bikes as long as he can remember. Commuting by bicycle and restoring old bikes are his particular interests. He enjoys both bike restoration and customizing – ask him about “Ol’ Smokey”. Don’t let his wild and crazy manner fool you - he provides you with personable sales and excellent service. If Troy can’t get you back out on the trail in a jiffy, nobody can!
